We know as new parents to the program that you will probably feel overwhelmed from all of the information outlined below. We want you to have as much information as possible so that you understand the commitment involved.
Practice begins the first week of August. We practice Tuesday-Thursday in the evening outdoors at Melican Middle School. Once school begins we will practice indoor 2-3 times a week in a Northborough or Southborough school. Practice is usually 1 1/2 hours-2 1/2 hours.
Cheering at Games:
Each Cheer Division is assigned to 1-2 youth football teams to cheer for. Games will be held once a week on Saturday or Sunday. All home games are played at Algonquin High School in Northborough. Away games locations are determined based on the team we are playing.
Competitions: Advancement based on placement
Fun Comp- Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Oxford/Webster
Local Comp- Saturday October 20, 2018 at Lowell Memorial Auditorium, Lowell MA (Top 5 teams move on to States)
State Comp- Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at Lowell Memorial Auditorium, Lowell MA (Top 3 teams move on to Regionals)
Regionals- Saturday, November 17, 2018 at SNHU Arena, Manchester New Hampshire (Nov. top 3 teams are eligible to go to Nationals)
Nationals- December 6- 9th, 2018 Orlando, Florida
What is issued?
Cheerleaders will be loaned a uniform, cheer bag, and warm up suit. All these items will need to be returned at the end of the season. If items are lost or damaged the parent is responsible for repaying the league.

You will need to purchase the following personal items:
Cheer Shoes (orders will be taken before the season) *approximated cost of $45-70
Tentative 2018 Dates:
Our league is part of the Central Mass Youth Football and Cheer Conference (CMYFCC) which is affiliated with American Youth Football (AYF) League. AYF is the world's largest youth football and cheer league. Being part of this conference/league requires us to follow certain policies and procedures for insurance purposes.
